Your group can access to the entire property and are the only group staying on the property. Your booking includes access to Dantosa House and Dantosa Cottage, the lake and lakehouse, tennis court, gazebo and croquet lawn, and 9 acres of gardens and ground. Dantosa House and Dantose Cottage offer a combined 7 bedrooms for accommodation. Up to 16 guests can stay overnight. Additional bedding can be arranged if your overnight guests exceed 16. A reservation includes all bed linen, towels, bathroom amenities, an open fireplace with firewood, wifi, expresso machine and coffee, a Sonos system, Foxtel Cable TV, Apple TV, Netflix etc, BBQs at the House, Cottage and tennis court and fully equipped kitchens. A booking may include access to Dantosa Cellar (please ask or check the package’s booking details). Additional tables can be hired subject to requirements. Yes! If you are interested in experiencing something different during your wedding stay, you may like to consider a wine tasting at Dantosa's cellar. Many guests have enjoyed the novelty of a Blue Mountains tasting in our French designed cellar. The cellar is nestled underground in the hill behind Dantosa Cottage and is triple-bricked with a capacity for some 2,000 bottles. It can accommodate up to 20 people per tasting and includes the carefully selected wines, cheeses, fruits and other delicious accompaniments. Wine-tastings are conducted by our panel of local experts, experts like Jane Adams or Robert Dalglish. More information is available here.

Dantosa is a popular venue for families, larger groups and wedding stays. We receive a significant volume of enquiries and bookings and availability dates may change rapidly. Reservation dates are only secured upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit. Owing to demand, Dantosa has a strictly limited allocation of weekends available for wedding stays. Once you are firm on your dates, please inform us quickly. Payment details for securing your reservation are provided during our quoting process or upon request. Bookings can also be made online directly although the rate quoted online is for accommodation only. Wedding stays and other events do incur additional charges and in accordance with specified requirements.

A wedding stay at Dantosa involves both holding your wedding ceremony at our venue and booking overnight accommodation. A wedding stay reservation provides you with exclusive access to Dantosa. You have access to Dantosa's accommodation facilities, tennis court, lake and lakehouse and 9 acres gardens and grounds. You and your guest group are the only guests on the property. In general, a wedding stay is booked for 2 or 3 nights. Dantosa is able to accommodate around 16 or so overnight guests. A wedding stay allows you to hold your wedding ceremony and reception meal(s) on the property. Day guests can visit for the day / night of your ceremony and reception. In fact, day guests are welcome to visit at anytime during your wedding stay reservation. For those day guests wanting to stay in the Mountains overnight, separate accommodation needs to be arrange. Please ask us for recommended Airbnbs and additional accommodation, if required. Dantosa also offers a single day booking for a wedding celebration. This enables you to hire Dantosa for a long day. Again, you reservation provides you with exclusive access to the entire property. You can hold your ceremony and reception meal using Dantosa's facilities and grounds. Generally bookings are from 8am to 8pm. Precise timings are very flexible and can be adjusted to suit your plans.

We understand circumstances and plans can alter. Our aim is to be as flexible as possible when quoting for a wedding stay. A quote will provide you the cost for delivering to your specific requirements. We will summarise our understanding of your requirements. A quote will detail all inclusions for a wedding stay. We will also provide with the minimum amount payable for your Dantosa wedding stay reservation. Of course, where additional services or options are included in a quote (for example, massage services or wine tastings) and are no longer required, the associated costs will be deducted from the final rate. Once the final rate has been agreed, we will provide you with the specific payment arrangements. Our general approach is for payment to be made in three installments: 1st installment: A$1,000 deposit - once received this payment secures your booking dates 2nd installment: 60% of the final rate - due approximately 8 weeks prior to your arrival. The precise date will be provided ahead of your reservation been secured. 3rd and final installment: the balance of the final rate - due 2 days before your arrival Payment options include bank transfers, all major credit cards and PayPal. All reservations are subject to Dantosa's terms and conditions, including our cancellation policies. Payment timings are stipulated during our quotation process and ahead of payment.

Dantosa's booking rate for a wedding stay is a combination of accommodation and event fees. The final rate depends comprises of the following: Seasonal Timing: The year, season and time of the week determine the applicable daily venue hire. For example, weekdays are generally available at a lower rate than weekends, the high season includes school holidays, Easter, Winter or the Christmas period. Length of Stay: The number of nights booked. Number of Guests: The number of overnight guests and the number of day guests. Day Guests are the wedding guests who visit Dantosa during your wedding, and do not stay overnight. Pre-Wedding Preparation: This includes the pre-stay preparation of the property and post stay cleaning fee. Dantosa Management: This includes a fee for Dantosa Management for the provision of onsite management on the day of the wedding celebration (generally applicable for events greater than 25 guests). Use of External Caterers: A flat fee for access and/or use of Dantosa's facilities by external caterers. Optional Services: Other optional services such as wine tastings, massages, furniture moving and/or hire. Dantosa offers a range of packages with fixed or minimum prices. Yes! Ahead of booking, you are very welcome to visit Dantosa. Often this is the best way to assess Dantosa’s suitability for your Wedding Stay and review the different options such as where you may wish to hold the ceremony, whether the celebration meal is inside Dantosa House or in a marquee, and review the gardens for photo opportunities etc. The best timing for a Tour is either early Sunday afternoon or Friday (when guests are not in residence). Please schedule a call with our manager to arrange a convenient tour date.

There is an option is to engage a wedding planner. Dantosa can introduce you to our local wedding planner who will assist you to create and deliver your special Wedding Stay. Our planner will manage the entire from your stay’s conception right through to the celebration (and beyond). The service facilitates your Wedding Stay vision and plans, undertakes supplier negotiations, selection and liaison, oversees set up including decorations, management of events, onsite suppliers and final pack up. Our wedding planner is an expert. She knows Dantosa intimately (in fact, she had her own wedding at Dantosa ) and can fully inform you of different supplier options and possibilities. Dantosa's quote enables you to invite up to the agreed number of overnight and day guests. Once the final rate is agreed, this rate represents the minimum amount payable. In some very special circumstances, the rate may be reduced if there is an explicit agreement to do so and there is a material change to the expected guest numbers. Please note, if additional services are required or extra guests are added, the final rate will be adjusted accordingly. You will always be informed of standard rates for additional services and extra guests.
